Ndaizivei Kamoto

Ndaizivei Loveletter Kamoto is a trade unionist, qualified journalist, and development practitioner with extensive experience in the agricultural labour sector. She holds a Diploma in Communication and Journalism and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Sociology and Gender Development Studies.
She has over 15 years of experience as an Information and Project Coordinator with the General Agriculture and Plantation Workers Union of Zimbabwe (GAPWUZ), as well as four years of Regional Project Coordination experience in the cut-flower and palm oil sectors.
Ndaizivei is a passionate advocate for decent work, child labour prevention, gender equality, and the protection of vulnerable agricultural workers, particularly women and young people. Through her work with GAPWUZ, she has led worker education initiatives, contributed to national labour policy negotiations, and represented agricultural workers at regional and international forums. She was also an active team member of the STOP CHILD LABOUR CAMPAIGN “Children to School, Parents to Work”, advocating for integrated approaches to child labour elimination, decent work, and social justice
