This side event will launch UNICEF’s new data brief on child labour in Eastern and Southern Africa, providing an evidence-based snapshot of trends, drivers, and disparities across the region. The session will move beyond headline numbers to unpack what the data means for policy and programming. It will highlight priority groups of children being left behind and outline concrete actions governments and partners can take to accelerate progress toward the elimination of child labour.
