The side event will examine the rising risks to children in conflict-affected and fragile settings, where escalating militarism and growing authoritarianism are driving displacement, instability, and the breakdown of democratic institutions. These conditions leave children increasingly exposed to exploitation, including some of the worst forms of child labour.
