Mr. Haddad, born in 1978 in Tartus, Syria, has extensive experience in interreligious peacebuilding and dialogue to support social cohesion in the Arab region. He currently leads the “Social Media as a Space for Dialogue” programme and is developing a network of religious institutions. He studied at the St. John of Damascus Orthodox Institute of Theology (University of Balamand, Lebanon) and completed further studies in Germany with a master’s thesis on Jesus Christ in the Qur’an. He taught at the University of Vienna and is finalizing a PhD on al-Biruni’s methodology in presenting other religions.
