Soumaila H Maig, Secretary for Training and Education, National Union of Workers of Mali, is a Professional teacher and head of school.

National coordinator for all projects and programs of the National Union of Education and Culture (SNEC) and Secretary for Training, Education, Research and Academic Affairs of the SNEC National Executive Bureau;
National coordinator for various migration projects at the Union Nationale des Travailleurs du Mali (UNTM) and Secretary for training, workers’ education, sports and cultural activities on the UNTM Executive Board.

National coordinator of all SNEC and UNTM projects to combat child labor;
Secretary of the inter-union platform (UNTM -CSTM -CMT and CDTM) within the framework of the ACCEL -AFRICA phase I and II project of the ILO (International Labour Organization);
UNTM National Expert for the Trade Union Analysis and Research Committee (UNTM -CSTM)
Deputy National Coordinator of PANAF-MALI at trade union level;
National trainer in subject didactics, environment and sustainable development and HIV.

Trainer in several regions of Mali and in several countries     on various themes such as: social dialogue, collective bargaining, the informal economy, decent work  , the general concept of trade unionism  , the gender concept, labor standards and labor disputes, fundamental labor principles and rights     , social protection     , the environment and sustainable development, migration, renewable energies  , freedom of association, occupational health and safety.
