Mr Redouane Arrach has been Secretary General of the Department of Agriculture since 20 January 2022.

A Moroccan agro-economist, he graduated from the Hassan II Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (1992) and the ISCAE Advanced Management Programme (1999).

He has held several senior positions within the Ministry of Agriculture, Marine Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, where he contributed to the design, implementation and monitoring of public agricultural policies, as well as to the strengthening of information and analysis systems, particularly in the field of agricultural statistics. Prior to his appointment, he had served as Director of Strategy and Statistics since 2017.
