Luiz Henrique Ramos Lopes is the Deputy Secretary of the Labour Inspection Secretariat at Brazil’s Ministry of Labour and Employment, where he also leads the Sustainable Work Program. A career Labour Inspector since 2007, he has held senior leadership positions within the Brazilian Labour Inspection System, including Director of the Labour Inspection Department, General Coordinator of Labour Inspection, and Head of the Child Labour Inspection Division. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Turin/ITCILO and represents the Ministry in the development of Brazil’s National Policy on Business and Human Rights. He also serves as the national focal point for the ILO Tripartite Declaration of Principles on Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy.
