Phineas Jasi

Dr. Phineas Jasi is a migration data systems specialist focused on large scale protection information architectures and evidence pipelines that support policy formulation and operational decision making across diverse mobility contexts. As Data and Research Specialist at IOM Headquarters in Geneva, he leads the design of interoperable data ecosystems, governance frameworks, and analytical models that enhance the visibility, quality and strategic use of protection data across regions. His work spans end to end data and standards development, advanced analytics, and integration of field generated datasets into global evidence streams supporting multilateral dialogue and programmatic planning. He holds a PhD in Social Science, an MSc in Population Studies, a BSocSc in Monitoring & Evaluation, and a BSc (Hons) in Geography and Environmental Science. Dr. Jasi’s contributions strengthen global protection data architecture, promote methodological innovation, and advance international efforts to build ethical, resilient, and intelligence driven migration systems.
