Maria Lee is a socio-economist and Child Labour specialist in FAO’s Rural Transformation and Gender Equality Division (ESP). She holds a master’s degree in international development. She has over 20 years experience supporting initiatives around rural development, women’s empowerment, youth employment and child labour prevention in agriculture with different international organizations. She provides technical support on the integration of child labour in investment projects.
