Business & Human Rights Coordinator
Lourdes Cardona is the Business and Human Rights Coordinator at the Honduran Business Council (COHEP) in Honduras. She has over twenty years of experience in international cooperation and governance, working with governments, the private sector, and multilateral organizations to advance responsible business conduct in Honduras and the region.
Her work focuses on translating international frameworks—such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights—into practical strategies, with expertise in child labour, migration, labour rights, and responsible supply chains. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in digital and Technological Law, linking digital transformation with human rights protection. Lourdes is committed to promoting sustainable, competitive, and rights-respecting business practices in Honduras.
