Mr. Bismark Quartey is a National Project Coordinator of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and manages the ACCEL Africa and CLIMATE Cocoa Projects in Ghana. This project works with government, employers, CSOs and workers to eliminate child labour in cocoa & mining supply chains, at the same time improving their socio-economic wellbeing, and contributing to the Child Labour Free Zone (CLFZ). He is a seasoned social development practitioner with hands on experience in areas of child labour, social protection, community development and partnership management. Before joining the ILO, he worked with National, sub-regional and international human rights organizations promoting fundamental rights, and social justice.
