Pedro José Filipe is the Secretary of State for Labour and Social Security in the Republic of Angola. He is a qualified lawyer, holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Coimbra, and is a Public Policy specialist from the Harvard Kennedy School. Throughout his career in the Angolan public administration, he has been involved in designing, analysing, and implementing public policies in the areas of labour and social security, with a particular focus on institutional modernisation, strengthening social dialogue, and promoting better working conditions.
