Béatrice Lestic
National secretary
Béatrice Lestic is National Secretary of the CFDT and Workers’ Representative on the ILO Governing Body.
Her trade union career and commitment led her to national responsibilities on the executive committee of the CFDT confederation.
Béatrice Lestic was a sales executive at Air France when, in 2007, she was appointed CFDT trade union representative and elected to the Commercial France works council at Air France.
In 2011, she became general secretary of the CFDT Air France Group and CFDT union representative for the Air France group.
In 2015, she also joined the executive board of the CFDT transport federation and the European Works Council of the Air France-KLM group.
Since the confederal congress in June 2018, Béatrice Lestic has been national secretary of the CFDT. In this capacity, she is responsible for international policy, Europe and overseas territories, and sits on the Executive Committee of the ETUC and the General Council of the ITUC.
Since 2021, she has been a titular member of the Workers’ Group on the Governing Body of the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
She is also involved in policy on women’s issues, particularly professional equality, the status of women and gender diversity. She sits on the High Council for Equality between Women and Men (HCE).
