Fayez Ali Al-Mutairi

H.E. Fayez Ali Al Mutairi is a Kuwaiti national who has served as Director General of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) since 2015, a position he will hold until 2027. In this capacity, he leads the Organization and its affiliated institutes and centers, while also acting as Secretary General of the Arab Labor Conference. He regularly heads ALO delegations to Arab Summits and major regional and international conferences, representing Arab labor interests at the highest levels. Notably, he leads the Arab Group at the International Labour Conference (ILC) in Geneva and participates in the Governing Body of the International Labour Organization (ILO), playing a central role in shaping labor dialogue and policy across the Arab region.
Throughout his tenure, H.E. Al Mutairi has been a strong advocate for Arab solidarity and social justice, providing continuous high level support to the workers and people of Palestine and other occupied Arab territories. His efforts include organizing the International Forum for Solidarity with the Workers and People of Palestine on the sidelines of the ILC. In recognition of his leadership and contributions, he has received numerous honorary awards and commemorative shields from political and social figures across the region, as well as prestigious distinctions such as the Order of the Two Niles (First Class) from the Republic of Sudan and the Star of Merit, Order of the State of Palestine, honoring his principled and steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
