Mr. Sipho Ndebele is a senior South African public official specializing in international labour relations and employment policy. He currently serves as Chief Director: International Relations at the Department of Employment and Labour, where he leads South Africa’s global engagement on labour issues. He heads the South African delegation to the G20 Employment Working Group, contributing to international dialogue on job creation, skills, social protection and labour market policies. At the International Labour Organization, he is Acting Chairperson of the Government Group of the Committee on the Application of Standards, guiding discussions on the implementation of international labour standards. With extensive experience in labour governance and multilateral cooperation, he is widely recognized as a skilled negotiator and a respected voice in global debates on decent work and inclusive growth.
