Ms. Albano has extensive experience across the Balkans, Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa, working with organizations such as the OSCE and IOM. An expert in humanitarian aid, migration governance, and anti-trafficking, she lectured at the Vienna Diplomatic Academy and Italian universities including Sapienza and Tor Vergata. She is also the author of several publications and academic papers on migration and trafficking.
