Kim Aikman
Chief Executive Officer
Mrs. Kim Aikman is the Chief Executive Officer of the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the largest private sector organization in Belize. She has worked extensively in the areas of Labour and Industrial relations. Currently, she serves on the National Labour Advisory Board, which is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Labour Act. Mrs. Aikman was just recently re-elected to serve as a director of the Caribbean Employers Confederation and was the Vice Chair of CARICHAM 2023-2024.
She has also served in senior management positions for two major U.S. airlines, where she was, at the time, the only female manager in the entire Central American region. She has had a long association with the Airline and Tourism Industries in Belize. She began her career with the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2008 as the Manager for Member Relations, where she worked tirelessly to increase the membership from 60 financial members to its current enrollment of over 350 financial members, including some Associations, representing in excess of 6000 employers. In 2011, Mrs. Aikman became the Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber. She is a certified Occupational Safety and Health trainer and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
