From these positions, he leads the sustainability strategy for the sugar cane agro-industry under ESG criteria, promoting decent working conditions, community development and corporate governance policies.
He has coordinated trade union processes with a focus on labour relations, dialogue, conflict resolution and institutional strengthening.
His experience also includes representing the union before national and international organisations and implementing social programmes that impact more than one million people in Guatemala.
