Minoru Ogasawara
Chief Technical Advisor
Mr. Minoru Ogasawara is the Chief Technical Advisor of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Abidjan. He joined the ILO in 2006 and has been working on child labour issues at Headquarters and in Kenya, Viet Nam, and Côte d’Ivoire. He is currently serving as the Chief Technical Advisor of the ILO’s ACCEL Africa project, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
Prior to joining the ILO, he worked for the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for six years as a technical advisor at the Japanese Embassies in Gabon and France. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Soka University in Tokyo.
