Tomoko Shiroki is Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Action against Child Exploitation (ACE). She has substantial experience and expertise in planning and managing child labour projects, particularly in the cocoa sector in Ghana, and consulting with businesses on human rights issues in their supply chains. She has worked closely with the Ghanaian Ministry of Labour, Jobs and Employment to develop the “Guidelines and Protocols for Establishing Child Labour Free Zones (CLFZs) in Ghana” which was officially launched in March 2020. Most recently, she is leading the Project for Mainstreaming Child Protection through Child Labour Free Zones in Ghana funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
