This side event examines how labour provisions in trade agreements are used in policy and practice to support child labour prevention. Through a focused, moderated discussion, speakers will respond to a central question on what practical adjustments in implementation, coordination and follow-up could strengthen child labour outcomes. Drawing on regional experience — including ASEAN initiatives — and a short QR poll of participants, the session aims to distil 3–5 clear, forward-looking priorities to inform Conference outcomes and follow-up efforts.
