Laura Corrado 

Head of the Unit responsible for International Relations and the European Training Foundation

Laura Corrado has over 20 years’ experience within the European Commission, where she has been dealing with a variety of issues in the areas of migration, home affairs and justice, as well as in the field of labour and social policies. She is currently the Head of the Unit responsible for International Relations and the European Training Foundation in the Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.

She graduated in Political Sciences and International Law at the University of Perugia (Italy) and obtained afterwards a Master in European Political and Administrative Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium).

Before joining the Commission, she worked as researcher in International Law and International Organisation at the University of Perugia and then as researcher and lecturer on EU-related matters at the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht (The Netherlands).
