lenia De Marino is a Child Protection in Emergencies Advisor at Plan International UK with over seven years of experience in the sector. She has supported multiple humanitarian responses — including in Ukraine, South Sudan, and Central America — providing technical guidance to strengthen high‑quality child protection programming, with a particular focus on adolescent girls.

She joined ACPHA at the end of 2022 as the co‑lead of the Child Labour Task Force, where she has played a key role in disseminating and promoting the Inter‑agency Child Labour Toolkit across regions, most recently delivering training in Lebanon. Ilenia now also serves as the co‑lead of the CPMS Working Group, helping ensure child protection practitioners are well‑versed in global guidelines and standards.
